My dog Keiko means the world to me!  Keiko has been going to doggy daycare since her puppy days. We recently had to find another daycare for her and it was very upsetting for the both of us.  But, we found Heather�s Place Doggy Daycare & Grooming.  I am so grateful to have found Heather and her daycare!  The daycare space is larger than all other daycare places I had looked at, it is always very clean, and the dogs always look happy!  I was also impressed that Heather knew al all about my difficult Shiba Inu breed.  Staff at other daycare's did not know all the �quirks� of this breed.  Heather always takes the extra time and patience with the dogs, talks to them, makes them special bandanas for the holidays and provides all these extra special touches.  As well, I was amazed that after only a few days of going to Heather�s Place that Keiko already liked Heather and was letting Heather and the other staff pick her up.    Keiko would usually not let anyone even pet her or hold her until after she has been around them for weeks.  Heather has an amazing gift with the dogs!

 The best part of all is that when Keiko goes to the daycare she is so very excited that she is like a jumping bean with energy that can not be contained. She is more excited than she was at her previous daycare.  And that shows that I am doing something right by putting her in Heather�s Place, but also that Heather�s Place must be a great place to be a dog!

We knew about Heathers excellent reputation as a groomer when she was still working at the SPCA from friends who took their dogs there. We did not have a dog then but welcomed one to our family shortly after she opened Heathers Place. I was very nervous about taking my baby for his first grooming but the day arrived we could wait no longer. Heather did everything that was necessary to ease my apprehension and was ever so gentle with Cowboy, taking the time to introduce the clippers, nail cutters and the other grooming equipment. He looked like a movie star at the end of it all. He loves to go to daycare when I need a day of shopping or lunch with friends. Heather�s place is a necessity to keeping our boy handsome and happy.

Heather has groomed my two westies since they were 4 months old.  She has taken the time to acquaint the dogs with the grooming tools, and what is expected from them during grooming.  These two dogs now attend daycare weekly to have fun while mom�s at work. The staff at Heathers Doggy Daycare are just great.
