Heather’s Place Doggy Day Care, is a superior alternative to temporary kennel or stay-at-home alone care because the dogs get attention all day, have cozy facilities, and have ample opportunities to exercise. Providing a safe place for your dog to interact with other dogs, to learn good
behaviour from other dogs and the staff, to share toys, how to relax and have fun, and to use their energy - that every normal, healthy dog has – so that when you come home from work your dog won’t overwhelm you with his needs. He’ll be relaxed and less demanding of your attention because he’s had a safe and fun day already.
If you are looking out for your pets best interest, and can afford a quality daycare program. This is quite understandable; you would not like to be locked up in a sterile cage setting around lots of other dogs who are upset and vocal about it. Dogs from kennels typically come back dirty, with strained voices and quiet unhappy.

Supervised play, minimum 2 walks daily, previous training and commands are reinforced and encouraged, quiet time as required for naps or time outs.

Two separate areas provide comfortable space for both small and large breeds.
Ratio of staff to dogs is at least 1 staff member per 10 dogs. |
At Heather’s Place your pet will receive two baths, as well as conditioner. After a few minutes of fun towel time, your pet will be dried by hand (no cage drying). A complete grooming at Heather’s Place always includes ear cleaning and nail trimming with a bandana or bows as the finishing touch.

We welcome drop ins for nail trimming and other small stuff at a nominal charge.
